| Outdoor AP offers the fastest wireless throughput in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and delivers a data transmission rate up to 54Mbps, which is faster than any 802.11b Access Point. Outdoor series incorporates 64/128-bit WEP Encryption and MAC Address Filtering, which allows you to assign the wireless access to whom you want. Outdoor supports WPA and VPN pass through (Router series), which provide a more advanced data protection during transmission. Its web-based management allows user to easily configure and maintain this outdoor device. With a built-in or an external antenna under point-to-point or point-to-multi-point mode, it enables long range outdoor linkage in high speed between buildings. Integrated component and auto-sensing heater in a sturdy waterproof enclosure provide an easy outdoor AP installation and less administrative efforts. Power over Ethernet reduces installation expenses and increases location options via a single Ethernet cable to provide both data and power to the unit. | |
